Logan Gyre is king of Cenaria, a country under siege, with a threadbare army and little hope. He has one chance---a desperate gamble, but one that could destroy his kingdom. In the north, the new Godking has a plan. If it comes to fruition, no one will have the power to stop him. Kylar Stern has no choice. To save his friends---and perhaps his enemies---he must accomplish the impossible: assassinate a goddess.

    Story
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If they were interested in the fantasy or urban fantasy genre, I would. There's a lot of thought that went into it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Logan Gyre was my favorite. Seeing his rise and ascension through the trilogy was cool.

Have you listened to any of Paul Boehmer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. He did a great job of maintaining continuity with the characters throughout the series.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There is a lot more to this book than just the story. It deals heavily with the ideas of God, right and wrong, social justice, one's destiny, and free will.

    Any additional comments?

    Good series. Wrapped up nicely.
