To make the journey into The Power of Now you need to leave your analytical mind and its false created self, the ego, behind. Access to the Now is everywhere - in the body, the silence, and the space all around you. These are the keys to enter a state of inner peace.

Kosmas says: "I'm so glad I got this book!"
    "waste of money"

This was the worst mistake I ever made. What a pile of mystical caca. The whiney voice of the author didn't help any, either. Save your money or burn it, either way you'll get better value than if you buy this vapid piece of ditritis

Why we think it’s a great listen: Never before has an author’s narration of his fiction been so important to fully grasping the book’s impact and global implications. Taking us from Afghanistan in the final days of its monarchy to the present, The Kite Runner is the unforgettable story of the friendship between two boys growing up in Kabul. Their intertwined lives, and their fates, reflect the eventual tragedy of the world around them.

    Joseph says: "A storyteller's story"
"A rich, thoroughly engrossing verbal tapestry"
    Overall

This is one of the outstanding books I have heard in the past few years. Every so often an author of incredible talent comes along and weaves a story so engaging and so realistic that you feel a profound sense of regret when that tale is ended. This is such a book. I went through the unabridged version in 2 days because I could not step away from it. I laughed and even cried spontaneously at parts of the story. This was a phenomenal read that opened my eyes to a culture about which I had previously held only a superficial understanding. BRAVO to the author!!!

  • The Company: A Novel of the CIA

    • UNABRIDGED (41 hrs and 22 mins)
    • By Robert Littell
    • Narrated By Scott Brick

"If Robert Littell didn't invent the American spy novel," says Tom Clancy, "he should have." In this spectacular Cold-War-as-Alice-in-Wonderland epic, Littell, "the American le Carre," takes us down the rabbit hole and into the labyrinthine world of espionage that has been the CIA for the last half-century. "Ostensibly a single novel, The Company can also be listened to as an anthology of cracking good spy stories," says (Publishers Weekly).

Cynthia says: "Hang on to your Hat"
    "totally absorbing"
    Overall

THE COMPANY tracks the lives of key players on the world political stage spannning some 60 years, and interweaves those lives with many of the most memorable and significant historial events of our times. This is all blended with a fascinating behind-the-scenes view of the world of espionage and the way it shaped our world. As much docu-drama as fiction, THE COMPANY is a storyline that draws you in early and keeps you interested through well developed characters and believeable plot situations. My sign of a "good read" is a profound feeling of regret when the last page is reached. This book had that. The COMPANY has all of the right elements and brings them together masterfully. A must for SPY fans, HISTORY fans, and readers who want more than superfiicial character development.
