The book is a classic and if you haven't read it -- you won't be dissapointed with the picture of the future it paints.
The narration is excellent along with the audio quality.
The only minus -- it bears the image of Will Smith from the movie "I, Robot." The movie has 0.0% to do with the book, is the opposite of it in many ways with its hordes of killer robots. Dr. Asimov must be rolling in his grave.
At the top.
The imagination involved stuns me.
It was one of those books that come along and I have to neglect the rest of my life till it is finished.
I am a lover of SciFi, hard SciFi as it is called, and of mysteries. Books that start off on some strange planet that I have to learn all about get boring. Aliens who still have Mom & Dad and the kids argue as they drive in their spacecraft don't do anything for me.
I love books that start out as this normal world that I live in, an ordinary day. And then a thing or things happen that are out of the ordinary. Sometimes something massive, but then the book is all about dealing with the event.
This book starts as my ordinary world, but then some odd things happen. They can be dismissed, I guess. But then other things are not just quite right. The mystery grows with each step to solve it.
Perhaps there are great secrets like this in my real world, and I may find one some day.Anyway, I truly loved this book, and this is my first review, I feel forced to write it.
