In Let Me Be The One, the brand-new book in Bella Andre's New York Times and USA Today best-selling series about the Sullivan family, an unexpected friends-to-lovers romance might not only turn out to be so much hotter than anything bad-boy pro-baseball-player Ryan Sullivan has ever known...but much, much sweeter, too. When Vicki Bennett saved Ryan Sullivan's life as a teenager, it was the beginning of a close friendship that never wavered despite her failed marriage to someone else and Ryan's well-earned reputation as a ladies man.

    Story

This story is a bunch of cliches. Maybe the writing just isn't my style. The first love scene made me want to puke it was so cheesy. I did like the friends to lovers theme and how they didn't get together instantly. I thought the dialogue b/w them as 15 year olds was unrealistic in the beginning of the story.

I really enjoyed this! I prefer for my books to not stereotype Republicans, so I took off a star. The narrator did a great job!

When post-grad Rachael Hamilton accidentally gate-crashes a pro-athlete party, she ends up face-to-face with Ryan Carter, the NFL's most beloved quarterback. While most girls would be thrilled to meet the attractive young millionaire, Rachael would rather spend time with books than at sporting events, and she has more important things to worry about than romance—like her parents pressuring her to leave her unpaid publishing internship for law school.

is lacking. I am returning after listening to the first hour. She is SUPER perky and chipper, it is very annoying. She doesn't distinguish b/w male and female voices, well, and pauses and stumbles over words.

A former football star and one of Chicago's top prosecutors, Assistant U.S. Attorney Cade Morgan will do anything to nail a corrupt state senator, which means he needs Brooke Parker's help. As general counsel for a restaurant company, she can get a bug to the senator's table at one of her five-star restaurants so the FBI can eavesdrop on him. All Cade has to do is convince Brooke to cooperate-and he's not afraid to use a little charm, or the power of his office, to do just that.

    Story

This book was decently enjoyable, but I never felt anything for the characters. The romance was very ho hum. It was rushed at the end to the point where I didn't believe their love. This is definitely the weakest of Julie James' books in my opinion. The narrator was okay. She pauses a lot which makes the read sound robotic at times. She did get better as the story went along.

Defiant Highland beauty Fiona Sinclair is shocked by her brothers’ treachery. With no choice but to wed, Fiona makes her own private vow: Though she may sacrifice her freedom, she will never surrender her heart. Commanded into marriage by the king, Myles Campbell is no more willing than his reluctant bride. Still, she is a rare beauty, passionate enough to warm even the coldest marriage bed.

I am so picky when it comes to audiobooks and narrators. This was a great story, it held my attention the whole time. I love this narrator! The only negative is that I felt like it was a little light on the romance.

Now a little older and wiser, she's ready to return to the Blue Heron Winery, her family's vineyard, to confront the ghosts of her past, and maybe enjoy a glass of red. After all, there's some great scenery there.... Like Levi Cooper, the local police chief - and best friend of her former fiancé. There's a lot about Levi that Faith never noticed, and it's not just those deep green eyes.
