You have a good idea but can't convince your peers of its merit. You crafted a groundbreaking strategy, but the teamtrudges on in the same old way. Certain people move forward in their career while you seem to be stuck. If this describes you or someone you know, the problem is not the quality of what you have to offer. The problem is how you connect with people to create the results you desire. Here, John Maxwell takes listeners through the Five Connecting Principles and the Five Connecting Practices of top-notch achievers.

What would have made Everyone Communicates, Few Connect better?

It could be complete. I downloaded this because I am an auditory learner and I was taking a class that required this book. I was missing important information. Shame on you Mr. Maxwell.

What if charisma could be taught? For the first time, science and technology have taken charisma apart, figured it out and turned it into an applied science: In controlled laboratory experiments, researchers could raise or lower people's level of charisma as if they were turning a dial. What you'll find here is practical magic: unique knowledge, drawn from a variety of sciences, revealing what charisma really is and how it works. You'll get both the insights and the techniques you need to apply this knowledge. The world will become your lab, and every person you meet, a chance to experiment.
