On the fourth and final night of the 2004 Democratic National Convention, Senator John Kerry (D-MA) accepted the Democratic Party Nomination to run for President of the United States of America. His acceptance speech, the finale of the DNC, took place at the Fleet Center in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 29, 2004.

Robin says: "Hope is on the way"
    "Kerry's been holding back."
    Overall

Kerry showed fire in this speech that he had apparently been holding back during the primaries.

I suspect he's been roping the dopes who criticized him for being too Gore-like.

On the third night of the 2004 Democratic National Convention, Senator John Edwards (D-NC), Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee, addressed the crowd. The speech took place at the Fleet Center in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 28, 2004.

I says: "Another BRILLIANT speech by John Edwards."
"Another BRILLIANT speech by John Edwards."
    Overall

This speech is filled with so much great stuff, I can't do it justice in 2000 characters. However, two high points: "hope is on the way" and the way he tied the idea that not holding people back based on race, class, religion etc is essential for American security (ie, America can't be strong if all Americans aren't strong and doing the best they can). If you missed this part of the speech, go back and listen. It's quite brilliant the way he does this.
