"Great short story!"
The story was very intriguing but the performance was right on point for the type of setting the story took place.
I think this was the first performance I've heard from Frank Muller but it will certainly not be my last.
This story and performance transported you to another place & time where you held your breath and wondered "Is this the breathing method?" I only wish there were more series to this.
"Great performance!"
I've never read this book, only saw the movie, but the performance was so good that the movie inside my head was just as good.
This was the first time I listened to Lindsay Crouse but I will make sure that it is not my last. She was fantastic.
The story was great as I knew it would be but it dragged a bit which is why I assume the movie cut those scenes out. All in all it was worth the listen.
"Fantastic"
I would absolutely listen to this story again. It was cleverly different... A refreshing comical twist on princess fairy tales that made you smile and giggle over and over again. Bronson Pinchot's performance was amazing and one of his best.
They were all memorable, mostly due to the great performance.
Yes
Great listen... You won't regret the purchase.
"Let down of an ending"
I would not listen to this book again.. Out of the three books in this series, this was my least favorite. The story ran on a bit about non interesting things. It also built up side plots that went nowhere and the ending itself was a bit confusing. The final scene, ending the series, was a major let down; I literally said out loud "That sucked"
Oliver Wymam's performance was on point as usual. He brings life to the characters and at times saves the story it's self through his pro narration.
"Best one yet!"
Bronson Pinchot is my favorite narrator and has yet to disappoint me. His character voices are the best and you can distinctly tell one character from the other. Him and Chris Farnsworth are brilliant combination.
I mainly listen to audio books on my commutes but I could barley pry myself away from this story...letting it sneak into my breaks and spare time.
I enjoyed the first 2 books, but this was by far my favorite. It was intense, chilling and unpredictable...all the makings of a great thriller, with a supernatural twist.
"Makes you want to hug your child"
McDowall's performance invoked the sadistic tortured mind of Barton Royle. He gave me chills.
Yes
Whitley Strieber and Roddy McDowell made this story come to life and made me hold my kids a little tighter at night.
"Nail biting"
Kristoffer played all the characters very well but I liked the main character the best. You can tell he envisioned the scene and channeled the character's emotions through the tone of his voice.
I never saw the movie but Im glad I heard this audio instead.
