"The Breathing Method", from Stephen King's bestselling collecton Different Seasons, takes place in an exclusive gentlemen's club in New York, where no one pays any dues. Membership is based upon a telling of tales, and one nightmarish tale about a disgraced woman determined to give birth - not matter the consequences - pays for them all.

What made the experience of listening to The Breathing Method the most enjoyable?

The story was very intriguing but the performance was right on point for the type of setting the story took place.

Have you listened to any of Frank Muller’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I think this was the first performance I've heard from Frank Muller but it will certainly not be my last.

    Any additional comments?

This story and performance transported you to another place & time where you held your breath and wondered "Is this the breathing method?" I only wish there were more series to this.

This stylish, darkly funny psychological debut thriller set in New York City is about a struggling writer forced to play detective in a real-life murder mystery plot, after a convicted serial killer—who claims to be innocent—hires him to write his memoir. All Harry Bloch knows about catching a serial killer is what he has learned from his own books. An unknown writer, Harry churns out pulp novels under a variety of pseudonyms.

What made the experience of listening to The Serialist the most enjoyable?

Both the story and the narrator made this an excellent experience.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved that the perspective of the story was of a witty, average writer who stumbled along the story as most of us do in our lives, making it more believable and hilarious.

Have you listened to any of Bronson Pinchot’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Bronson Pinchot is my favorite narrator and continues to be in this audio book. His accents, voices and story telling are dead on and I know I would not have enjoyed the books he narrated as much as I did if he were not the narrator.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved Harry's final interview with Darian Clay at the prison. It sealed the deal.

    Any additional comments?

I'm so glad I purchased this book. It was totally worth it.

Thrown from the wreckage of his '74 Camaro, Paul Sheldon, author of a best-selling series of historical romances, wakes up one day in a secluded Colorado farmhouse owned by Annie Wilkes, a psychotic ex-nurse who claims she is his number one fan. Immobilized from the pain of two shattered legs and a crushed knee, Sheldon is at Annie's mercy.

Would you consider the audio edition of Misery to be better than the print version?

I've never read this book, only saw the movie, but the performance was so good that the movie inside my head was just as good.

Have you listened to any of Lindsay Crouse’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was the first time I listened to Lindsay Crouse but I will make sure that it is not my last. She was fantastic.

    Any additional comments?

The story was great as I knew it would be but it dragged a bit which is why I assume the movie cut those scenes out. All in all it was worth the listen.

Prince Liam. Prince Frederic. Prince Duncan. Prince Gustav. You've never heard of them, have you? These are the princes who saved Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, and Rapunzel, respectively, and yet, thanks to those lousy bards who wrote the tales, you likely know them only as Prince Charming. But all of this is about to change.

Would you listen to The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom again? Why?

I would absolutely listen to this story again. It was cleverly different... A refreshing comical twist on princess fairy tales that made you smile and giggle over and over again. Bronson Pinchot's performance was amazing and one of his best.

Who was your favorite character and why?

They were all memorable, mostly due to the great performance.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes

    Any additional comments?

Great listen... You won't regret the purchase.

The Morningstar Virus, an incredibly virulent disease, has swept the face of the planet, infecting billions. The infected hosts rampage, attacking anything that remains uninfected.

Would you listen to Survivors again? Why?

I would not listen to this book again.. Out of the three books in this series, this was my least favorite. The story ran on a bit about non interesting things. It also built up side plots that went nowhere and the ending itself was a bit confusing. The final scene, ending the series, was a major let down; I literally said out loud "That sucked"

What about Oliver Wyman’s performance did you like?

Oliver Wymam's performance was on point as usual. He brings life to the characters and at times saves the story it's self through his pro narration.

Written in their blood on the wall of the crime scene: IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK. And with that, a centuries-old horror known only as the Boogeyman returns to taunt Nathaniel Cade, the president's vampire. What does Bronson Pinchot bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Bronson Pinchot is my favorite narrator and has yet to disappoint me. His character voices are the best and you can distinctly tell one character from the other. Him and Chris Farnsworth are brilliant combination.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I mainly listen to audio books on my commutes but I could barley pry myself away from this story...letting it sneak into my breaks and spare time.

    Any additional comments?

I enjoyed the first 2 books, but this was by far my favorite. It was intense, chilling and unpredictable...all the makings of a great thriller, with a supernatural twist.

Which character – as performed by Roddy McDowall – was your favorite?

McDowall's performance invoked the sadistic tortured mind of Barton Royle. He gave me chills.

Kristoffer played all the characters very well but I liked the main character the best. You can tell he envisioned the scene and channeled the character's emotions through the tone of his voice.

I never saw the movie but Im glad I heard this audio instead.
