Ellen O’Farrell is a bit unusual. She’s a hypnotherapist. She’s never met her father. And she can’t seem to keep a relationship going. (Okay, that’s more normal that we want to admit.) When Ellen meets Patrick, she’s hopeful nevertheless. But when he says he needs to tell her something, she fears the worst. When Patrick reveals that his ex-girlfriend is stalking him, Ellen thinks, "Is that all?" She’s more intrigued than frightened. She’d love to meet her. What she doesn’t know is that she already has.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Hypnotist's Love Story to be better than the print version?

I dont have the print version of this book.

What did you like best about this story?

Each characters' story developed beautifully. To see how the 2 female characters dealt with the each other and the stalking situation was great. I really loved the switch from one women to the other for the different sides.

Stephen King returns to the characters and territory of one of his most popular novels ever, The Shining, in this instantly riveting novel about the now middle-aged Dan Torrance (the boy protagonist of The Shining) and the very special 12-year-old girl he must save from a tribe of murderous paranormals. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of hyper-devoted fans of The Shining and wildly satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.

D says: "The sequel to the book; not the movie"

If you could sum up Doctor Sleep in three words, what would they be?

    Amazing characters & story!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Doctor Sleep?

Dan sitting on the bench twisting the cap on the bottle fighting his demons. I felt his thirst, pain, sadness in that paragraph and I begged him not to give in :(

What does Will Patton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I actually read the book at home and listened in my car. He gives so much feeling to the voices. You feel the anger or arrogance or despair of the characters

If you could take any character from Doctor Sleep out to dinner, who would it be and why?

It would be Dan. His story makes you want to hold his hand to support him through his battles

    Any additional comments?

I read/listened to The Shining and Doc Sleep one right after the other. Loved both stories (never saw the movie). Stephen King proves again that what he does, he does it very well!

By the end of the fifteenth century, the beauty and creativity of Italy is matched by its brutality and corruption, nowhere more than in Rome and inside the Church. When Cardinal Rodrigo Borgia buys his way into the papacy as Alexander VI, he is defined not just by his wealth or his passionate love for his illegitimate children, but by his blood: He is a Spanish Pope in a city run by Italians. If the Borgias are to triumph, this charismatic, consummate politician with a huge appetite for life, women, and power must use papacy and family—in particular, his eldest son, Cesare, and his daughter Lucrezia—in order to succeed.
