"Clean"
I purchased this book mainly as a listen for my granddaughter. I have enjoyed it so much, that I will continue with the series. It is clean, funny, and easy to listen to. We need more books like this for the in between years of young teens.
"Standout Book!!!"
This is a book that I truly enjoyed listening to. I loved the story. Many times I was transported back as if I were in the room waiting for the birth.
I recommend this book as a "must listen".
Patricia Harman wrote a great story, and Anne Wittman made the book come alive with the way she read the book.
I am watching for more books by both of these women.
"Fact is fact."
I feel this was a true crime story. It is said to be true, and if you want to know the facts, then you must hear the acts. It told of the homosexual acts, but they were an important part of the facts. When you listen to a steamy romance book, you hear a lot more than this. I feel this was a great listen, and I would recommend it, if you like true crime.
If truth be told, none of this is anything that the average adult has not heard rumors about.
I was intrigued with the story, the way the facts were collected, and finally in finding Levi.
My rate for this book is 5 stars.

"Wonderful Story"
I love books by Robyn Carr. This is a stand alone story, and I laughed and I cried. The only problem with the book is the amount of off color words, and the swearing. I had to keep turning it down when my grandkids came into the room. Since I told you about the language, I recommend this book highly.
"Doesn't seem like a Lynn Austin book."
I have listened to many Lynn Austin books, and I can't believe she wrote this book. To me it is boring from the very beginning. The story is shallow, and the characters are made to be very whiney people. This is not an Austin book that I would recommend. Sorry for the bad review, but this is the way I feel.
"Dumb!!!!"
Even though this was a lower priced book, it sounded like it would be funny. The wanna be southern voice is terrible. The story is so dumb, it is a turnoff from the very beginning. I would not recommend this book.
"Fun Listening"
This book was a fun and interesting listen, it also added some good tidbits about the history of coffee. All in all it was an easy listen fireside book. I will continue with the series.
"A must listen to book."
Lynn Austin is a writer that comes along once in a lifetime. Each of her books are the best.
All I can say is, listen to this book, and the others she has written, and you will want Lynn to write another hundred books.
"A Must Listen to series."
Yes, this is a series that everyone will enjoy.
Each and every person plays a role in the book.
She is great no matter which book she is reading.
The entire book keeps you interested.
This series is called Refiners Fire. Listen to the books in order.
1 - Candle in the Darkness
2 - Fire by Night
3 - A Light to my Path
This is a series that you will feel badly when they are over.
"Very misleading"
It sounds like it is read by a 15 year old, and she is just reading without any emotion.
It seemed so childish.
The reading sounds like it is being read in a monotone voice.
This could have been a great book, but is comes accross like an eight grader writing a story.
"Second wonderful book!!!"
As I wrote in the review for Paradise Valley, this second book is just as good. Make sure you listen to them in the proper order. If you like Amish stories, this is one of the better books to listen to.
