I couldn't stand more than two hours, it was depressing and boring.
An explaination of the society up front instead of starting off with a confusing monologue from a suicidal guy.
He sounded as bored as I was.
Not that I got to.
I am an avid fan of post-apopolytic stories but the lead guy was so depressing I wanted to end it for him to put me out of his misery.
No. The lady reading the book didn't manage the male voices very well, and when it came to sex scenes involving the smaller fae the voices she used were child-like and thus uber-creepy.
My favorite character is Darkness. He is cool, calm and dangerous.
No, she has ruined all the Hamilton books.
I love the book itself but could not make it through this performance.
I have loved all of Sherilyn's books, but this one missed the mark. The lead woman kills a bunch of dark-hunters, is a total bad-ass, and then turns into a whiny little helpless girl when Sundown comes along? I want my ladies to have more fight, even when they are wrong. She should have tried to kill him more often and with more success. She should have left him hating himself for wanting her instead of her climbing into his lap with barely a whimper. This made this book too boring and sappy to finish.
I will have to wait for the next book to see if it is better.
I usuall like Mr. Graham, but not even he could save this book.
I want fond of any of them. No spine or grit.
