In Jim Cramer's Mad Money, TV's champion of the middle-class investor walks you through the key decisions investors have to make: understanding your tolerance for risk and defining your goals, doing the essential homework on a stock, and knowing how to buy and sell stocks the right way - the Cramer way.

    Lynn says: "more Cramer"
    "more Cramer"
    Overall

Similar to Cramer's tv routine, but better--more explanation, more teaching, less hysteria. And the work sheets are a good supplement.

  • Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance

    • ABRIDGED (7 hrs and 13 mins)
    • By Barack Obama
    • Narrated By Barack Obama

    Performance

    Story
    (432)

In this lyrical, unsentimental, and compelling memoir, the son of a black African father and a white American mother searches for a workable meaning to his life as a black American. It begins in New York, where Barack Obama learns that his father, a figure he knows more as a myth than as a man, has been killed in a car accident.

Kathryn says: "A wonderful, insightful, non-political story"
    "Obama on himself"
    Overall

Very interesting and I wish I'd read it before I voted, but I don't think I would have changed my mind (voted for him). His reading is rather flat, but he's not an actor. He shows himself to be a thoughtful person who has had to do a lot of processing, unlike his far less thoughtful predecessor.
