"Couldn't stop Listening"
Another example of my interpretation of a good book. Just had to keep listening and kept thinking about it after it had finished.
Three different lives in wartime years. Didn't quite turn out as I planned but a great ending.
Keep the tissues handy.
"Entertaining and a light read"
Knowing nothing of the author or book I found this to be most entertaining and light hearted. And I liked the reader too.
"Searched for History after reading"
I chose this book, knowing nothing about its contents, and what a spendid read.
If time had allowed I would have read in one sitting.
As the author says at the end. Judge a good book by the research you do after reading. well from only knowing that Charles Lindberg flew an aircraft I now know what made the man who he was, Ihave searched and am looking for more books by this author and others on the subject.
"MORE THAN I EXPECTED"
Not know anything about this book, I was pleasantly surprised. I just had to know what this was about. I leant a lot about the women of The Kingdom and the menfolk.
I found the discussion with the writer, at the conclusion, to be a surprise and a well received time of listening. Will definitely look for more of Qanta A. Ahmed's book. She writes excelently.
"Another Winner for Me"
Its so good to find books without all the explicit sex murder etc.
This is all left to the reader. I love Sandra Dallas books and I also learn a lot about the history of America. I hadn't heard of the Camps before but she aways leaves me having to find out more. I loved the ending and the reading was excellent.
"Keep the Tissues Close"
Coming to this book from the TV series, I found it most compelling. Terribly sad at times and horribly stark but true. A remarkable woman a must read, and I hope to find her other books on Audible.
"Confusing"
Having enjoyed a previous book by this Author I was disappointed. I found the plot rather confusing and it often took me a while to realise where we were in the book. But having said that I found that I had to read to the end because I wanted to know the outcome.
Will try another by this Author but hope I like it more.
"Couldn't put it down"
Typical Sandra Dallas story. Just had to keep going to see what would happen. Loved the last chapter which rounded up the story but left much to the imagination, Great Read
"excellent experience"
I thought I had it sussed at the beginning. But such wonderful twists and turns. Excellent Reading.
"At last she Married"
As anticipated ... excellent as we travel with Precious and Grace Makutsi in their endeavours to keep Boswana as it should be.
Lisette Lecat as usual performs to perfection. I hope there are many many more stories.
