I don't know who would enjoy this book. It had pretty good ratings so I felt confident downloading it and using a credit. This book could be shorter if the author would just get to the point.
I really don't think so.
I think the performance was ok. I like the accent but I don't like the inflection. I have a hard time distinguishing between his humor voice and his serious voice since they are the same.
Better writing. The straw that breaks the camels back between Acheron and Artemis stems from her telling him that she had a baby. Ash assumes it to mean that she stole a child from a village and breaks off any ties he has with her and thus begins the Dark Hunter legacy. The thing is, she says this to him in Greek in the book - which Kenyon clearly states. Greek is a very structured language. The grammar would not have gotten in the way as it suggested by Kenyon. Because of this gaffe (which a little research would have resolved) I have been unable to read any more of her work.
The abuse in this book is also ridiculously graphic. Sherrilyn Kenyon tends to write graphic adult scenes but these were over the top.
Lack of research into something so fundamental to the world she created.
It was fine.
The graphic sexual abuse and the greek gaffe.
I found the story to be pretty good. The constant repeating of Sookie's telepathic "disability" gets annoying after a while, though.
