"Good for Teenagers"
This was a great listen, but make sure it is older teenagers. The story lines are realistic for teens, but maybe uncomfortable for preteens. The girls experience many things including relationships with boys. Recommended for mature 13 year olds and older. We can't wait to listen to the Second Summer of the Traveling Pants.
"Awful awful awful"
Having a story not a political commercial
This was not a story all in the animals voice
Don't waste your money or a credit. I listened to the whole thing hoping for an improvement
"Hated all the singing"
There was too much singing. I would have liked it better it if there was no singiing. A little is fine this was over the top.
Yes I love the series just not this story
"Not just for men"
I just started listening to Harlan Coben books, and at first I was a little worried that these would be just for men, however I was pleasantly surprised - I love the characters and the stories always seem to have twists and turn.
"Brings me back to the City"
What I love most about this story is all the real reference to the City I love the most. I grew up in the Bay Area and was the first in 6 generations to move out of the state. The characters are interesting and the references bring me back home.
What I didn't like was the quick movement from one plot to the next. Not sure if this is because it was originally done as a newspaper story or if it is the way it was edited for Audible. I find that I am often going back just to make sure I that I did not miss something by not paying attention.
I am still enjoying the story.
"Poor Audio"
I love The Cat Who books, but the audio on this book is soooooooooo bad, I can barely hear it. I can't even tell if I like the reader. I am not sure I can listen I have my IPOD on so loud and I still can't hear.
I have no clue about the book because it is o hard to hear.
"Listened with my daughter"
This was a great book. My daughter, a very typical 14 year old who wants to spend time with her parents as long there is absolutely nothing else to do(and no one will find out), and I listened to this book together while traveling in the car. It was a great coming of age story.
It touches on many of the items that teenage girls go through, popularity, changing of friends, clothes, friendship, boys and parents.
My daughter loved this, because it was told from the teens eyes, not her parents.
"Nice but not moving"
This was nice listen to, the reader had a nice southern accent. It was pleasant but not extremely moving. The plot was not indepth and seem to skim the surface of the story.
