I don't care what anyone says about Dick Hill's narration, I love that he reads this book to me. I don't know that the accents are genuine and I'm pretty sure he has the New Englander all wrong and still I'm glad he reads this book to me. It is just that good!! Try it, you may just like it.

This was a light and easy listening experience with a bit of romance, a bit of suspense and a bit of history thrown in. I thought the narrator did a fine job reading this book.

I love Dick Hill's narration and even he could not save this book for me. I usually like Brown's books and I commend her for tackling a such a heavy subject as rape, but this was such a weird book and it wasn't just because a man was reading the rape scenes that made me queasy, although that didn't help. The whole book felt skeevy and I wish I could un-listen to this one.

Yes. This particular book didn't thrill me but I like the author.

I like Dick Hill's narrations and this one was on level with all the others I've listened to by him.

The characters are all there for a reason.

Some of the reviews stated there was too much romance in the book but I thought there was less romance in this particular Brown book and more drama and suspense. In any case, it is one of my favorite Brown books. I wish I hadn't listened to it so recently so that I could listen to it again!

One of my favorite Crusie/Mayer books. The narration takes a bit of getting used to but this is one I go back to again and again. It's funny, suspenseful and a little bit sexy.

Author needs to discover some witchcraft to help with the writing. Hope the next book is better but I won't know because I will not spend any money or credit on anything she writes EVER.

I am waiting anxiously for the next book so I can finish this one but I would still recommend this one. In my mind there are a lot of people in limbo just hanging around waiting for something to happen and I'd like to know what! With that said, I love this series and of course I will listen to the next one.

Save your money, save your credit. I couldn't stand the spoiled, demanding female and spent most of the time hoping the male lead would shake her or yell at her OR something! It may have been the narrator's voice that bothered me too b/c although she wasn't horrible, she was definitely not great. Someone owes me a credit...audible for offering this or the author for writing it...I'm not sure but someone owes me a credit.

The story was well put together and the female narrator did an excellent job with the male voices.

I wasn't sure about this but the reviews were good enough that I gave it a shot. Wow! I'm so glad I did.I read it and gave it to my adult daughter who is staying up waaay too late to read it. Action, adventure, suspense, romance, and a gifted narrator. Oh, and you'll fall in love with Jamie.
