"Live life"
I really liked this book. It really reminded me of my father and made me not want to waste any time on people who don't really care about you.
"Oldie?"
This book is truly timeless. I had no idea it was an "oldie" until I read some of the reviews so don't let that detour you. It is brilliantly ended yet leaves you wanting more.
"Sigh, actual solutions we'll never see implemented"
Here is a handbook on how problems are best solved locally and directly by the people they effect or people who choose to get involved. My mind was racing as I thought through the potential of actually implementing the ideas from this book. It was very uplifting....
If only we looked to ourselves for the solution. Regrettably, more government is always the solution to the issues created by large government and we the people can't be expected to be held responsible for our own lives when there exists at least a percentage doing better. We have all become VERY generous with other people's money. "Let the government or the rich solve that" is now the default solution to every problem. What an eye opener.
"My friend Mike"
If you like Zombie books I recommend these ones mostly because of how real the main character is and how much like you he might be. This story is about an ocd guy who loved the idea and planned for a zombie Apocalypse for years before it happened. It is horrifying and fun to follow this puking-shaking yet manly germ-a-phoebe though the first days as his "dream/nightmare" comes true.
"I heart Bean"
This book reveals Bean's true legacy King Lear style. I only wish it were longer.
"If you think you know it, you are wrong"
Don't pass by this book because you've seen too many movies of it.
This book is surprisingly not like those movies.
Now I'm thinking those movies had other agendas. Listen and you might know what I mean. Stop trying to change history! Bad stuff happened and still happens.
"Awesome....Then twilighty"
This books started sooooo awesome with fire and blood and explosions! YA! But then 2 boys like her and she doesn't know what to do and it made me sad :( YOU RUINED IT! (crying goes here)
"STOP SLURPING THE MIC!"
I swear that this reader has a chicken bone in his mouth through the entire book. And if he's not eating something, he is thinking about it. And now that I've said something, that is all you will be able to hear too. You're welcome! Does he slurp? SNIFF? Salivate, and then eventually swallow it all? You betcha!! But, the story is so cool that I'll have to listen to it all again. Sick!
"1.5"
Listen to this book at 1.5 speed. It is much better that way and far less depressing.
"The time will fly by!"
This story was so fun! You may need a little patience at the beginning but I promise it will pay off. The character building was fantastic. You'll wonder how 20 hours was enough time to create so many distinct individuals, make you care about them, and have remaining time to flip all of their worlds upside-down so entertainingly complete.
"timeless"
I can't believe this was written so long ago. Seems like something that would come out right now.
