After a love affair with a man 3,000 miles away, whom she met online, Suzanne Portnoy, mother of two and a top executive in the entertainment industry, begins her sexual reawakening. Insatiable, she dives into the swinging scene and works her way through an entire spectrum of sexual experience, including exhibitionism, group sex, and fetish clubs. The Butcher, The Baker, The Candlestick Maker is a story that is shocking and heart-warming in equal measure.

    "Don't Waste Your Time"
    Overall

This is about as erotic as a protology exam. I could only get about halfway through. I've given it a single star because there is no rating lower. The author has a good command of the language, but the story is sad and depresing.

  • A Killing Frost

The discovery of two teenage girls' bodies and a video of a snuff movie showing the death of one of the victims leaves Detective Inspector Jack Frost in a race against time before the killer can strike again.

    "Dark but funny and fun."
    Overall

Jack Frost is, as far as I can tell, sui generis. He's apparently not handsome, he's a messy guy, he's not appreciated by his superiors, his intelect is downplayed, his relationships with subordinates is understated, and all sorts of other characteristics that are not found elsewhere. His humor is handled well and the humor is a relief from most mysteries. More from this author, please.
