His voice, as other reviewers have said, may be an issue for some. I got used to it within one listening. I've used guided meditations --my favorite is Shakti Gawain-- and relaxation tapes in the past. I like the way this hypnosis CD is constructed. And it certainly worked for me.
This should really be numbered as 16.5 as the In-Death part of the two books actually occurs before 17 in terms of the progression of the relationship and overall story of Roark and Dallas. Summerset, the butler, is still on vacation, whereas in 17 he returns. So if you listen to it as 17.5, and after 17 as indicated, you will hear that Summerset hasn't returned from vacation yet, even though he returned in 17.
This after the first five minutes of listening. Sadly Peabody's 'voice' and personality is different in this story, now it's very hard to tell the difference between Dallas and Peabody. I much preferred Ericksen's previous energetic and enlivened performance of this series.
