A great futuristic story line with flashbacks to some amazing 80s pop culture. The characters have adequate development and unique futuristic culture all their own. I enjoyed the nearly doomsday predictions of the future state of humanity. A lot of it makes sense.

I will re-listen to this story many times due to the fascinating story and the brilliant reading by Wil Wheaton!

This story is about as long as one part of others. Interestingly it takes you on a journey that is unimaginable before you get there.

Interesting inclusion of real science and theory in to a fictional story. I found myself wanting more but feeling satisfied that I had all I needed.

Amusing satirical view of the future, had some good laughs with this book. Worth a read especially if you are short on time.

I have been an Apple user since the // series, but never a fanatic. I am not devoted to Jobs but admire some of his results.

This helped fill in a few remaining gaps in the Jobs story in my mind. I've been in to tech since the early 80s and studied the history of the "personal computer" as far back as the concept reaches.

I follow modern technology stories on a daily basis and it's fascinating to see the fingerprints of the revolutionaries that pushed the edge of possibility and brought about the revolution which is now a way of life. This book brings in to focus the role that Jobs and his cohort have played in this new world order.

Great interview approach, unapologetic and brilliant. Heartfelt narration keep you interested and engaged with this fascinating character.

Take two things I love, Zombies and King books.

This isn't a horror story this is a thriller with a crazy plot that should scare anyone. Honestly, this helped fill in a gap on The Walking Dead for me. As a tech enthusiast I find techno-thrillers as a cautionary tale entertaining. This is a good book for you if you follow the last sentence.

This book was amazing, great concept, great execution! I was enthralled with this book all the way through. I found myself pushing to listen even a few minutes at a time all day!

A Sci-Fi influence was more pronounced in this story than most King books and this worked well. The story revolves around a known King theme of movement between "worlds". Unlike many SF novels the movement seems fluid and easily approachable even for those who may not be attracted to this genre.

The characters are classic King, well developed and all with their own motivations. The interactions and descriptions give the reader the feeling of sitting at a table in the conversation instead of a 3rd person voyeur.

There is a lot of plot and story but the payoff is amazing. The research on this tale is amazing. Even if you are not familiar with the setting you feel as thought you can walk the streets without asking for directions.

If you have ever dabbled in the politics of the early 60's you should read this book.

I enjoyed this book much more than the other works by this writing team. Though some of the content is dated on retrospect I found a commonality with the characters. Unlike some insane Michael Bay version of a possible world ending disaster this story focuses on a core group of characters. I liked the believable and approachable nature of the writing. As a SF fan I tend to lean more towards the "this could happen" story line and this is a home-run. The end of the book feels a little rushed as though a cap was thrown on during the development of a different end point.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit and might revisit it.

Please don't give up if you didn't like the first book! This book will hook anyone in to this story. I loved the first book and felt that this tale really connected the was to the is.
Better than most King, better than Under the Dome, just finish all of the books when you start.

This book was the end of the anticipated trilogy. It seems as though all good things come to an end. I felt that this story was almost more bogged down in the bureaucracy than the others, though that doesn't seem right. Felt like it was good enough but not quite what I expected. A must listen if you have read the first two AMAZING books.

I don't know if it's because I just finished a masterpiece prior to this, but I didn't connect. Somewhere between the writing and narration I felt lost in this book, disinterested at best. I found the plot annoying and over-explanitory.

I can't believe there isn't more press about this! Great book, amazing series, Perfectly performed.
