"Interesting, but still lacking."
If I could sum up the book in 3 words, I'd have to use 4; Read The God Delusion.
I rather enjoyed the brief nature of the book, it was sort and to the point. That being said it doesn't delve deep enough into the topics to sate my thirst for knowledge. It's an excellent appetizer for other books he's written, but as a main course it isn't filling.
The performance was great, I rather like that it comes across as more of a lecture than a book. You feel engaged and want to continue from start to finish. Their work is consistent and, with the exception of Professor Dawkins' moments of near-childish excitement when discussing rainbows (which incidentally was very good narration, emotion is welcome) .was par for the course.
