Listening to the 1st in this series got me hooked and wanting to find out more. Our Navajo hero is at times predictable and hormone centric but the premise was good and the story interesting.
It started slowly and there were dragging moments BUT the whole story was entertaining and enjoyable. This recurring theme of the Christian leaders taking over the world is getting tiresome though what with Ben Bova and Allen Steele both pushing it.
But if you listened hard and went back a few times the story was curious enough to keep you listening. Neil Gaiman offers the most unusual stories.
Temple Grandin manages to take what is around us and obvious if pointed out and make sense of it. She is brilliant and I learned so much from listening to this book. I will listen to it again and again.
Times have changed dramatically since this book was written. It simply isn't current yet manages to be condescending. I erased it before I listened to more than 2 hours. Time is short.
Not much here but music and out dated information. It didn't offer new information and was not able to hold my attention.
