Autumn in Paradise, Massachusetts, is usually an idyllic time - but not this year. A Hollywood movie company has come to town, and brought with it a huge cast, crew, and a troubled star. Marisol Hinton is very beautiful, reasonably talented, and scared out of her wits that her estranged husband's jealousy might take a dangerous turn. When she becomes the subject of a death threat, Jesse and the rest of the Paradise police department go on high alert.

As good as you expect it to be picture the mini series characters and let it play.
Tip if you listen to this on a Bluetooth speaker you will enjoy it better than headphones or car audio due to loudness of Gus and few other characters it is easier to tolerate and if you don’t like the narrator give it an hour or five and I think you will get used to his voice.

Great way to make a short story better, wish they would make more of these faster. I got a lot of Louis L’Amour stories in my library, but the dramas are some of my favorites.Even when some of the narration only books are better stories. This one is worth purchasing, it’s simple and pulpy but classic L’Amour the actors and sound effects are top notch and can be listened to multiple times without losing interest.

Steven Rinella won a lottery to hunt for a wild buffalo in the Alaskan wilderness. One of only four hunters that year who succeeded in killing a buffalo, he carried the carcass down a snow-covered mountainside and floated it four miles down a white-water canyon while being trailed by grizzly bears and suffering from hypothermia. Rinella found himself contemplating his own place among the 14,000 years' worth of buffalo hunters in North America and the place of the buffalo in the American consciousness.

good book but meat eater was better also if this book was narrated by Steve himself or the guy who narrated meat eater it might have been better. not sure in my mind if it was worth a credit but I did listen to it twice in a row. ultimately Steve jumped around a lot and it distracts from the overall story of the hunt. Not to say I didn't like all the extra facts I did just didn't enjoy 4 minutes of the hunt to 20 minutes of facts ratio.

When Wyoming highway patrolman Rosey Wayman is transferred to the beautiful and imposing landscape of the Wind River Canyon, an area the troopers refer to as no-man's-land because of the lack of radio communication, she starts receiving "officer needs assistance" calls. The problem? They're coming from Bobby Womack, a legendary Arapaho patrolman who met a fiery death in the canyon almost a half century ago.

pump a Red Ryder come on better research on air guns Mr. Johnson please. they are lever action and are spring powered not compressed air powered as other types of air rifles are. you also messed up in dark horse as a Henry rifle and a yellow boy ( made by Winchester ) are two completely different rifles. I believe I found other mistakes in other works as well. not trying to be rude just wanting to give good feedback.

Steven Rinella grew up in Twin Lake, Michigan, the son of a hunter who taught his three sons to love the natural world the way he did. As a child, Rinella devoured stories of the American wilderness, especially the exploits of his hero, Daniel Boone. He began fishing at the age of three and shot his first squirrel at eight and his first deer at thirteen. He chose the colleges he went to by their proximity to good hunting ground, and he experimented with living solely off wild meat. As an adult, he feeds his family from the food he hunts.

love your stories Mr Johnson but do more research on your firearms and such please.
the Henry rifle and a yellow boy are two completely different rifles and you are calling Herschel's rifle both of them. A yellow boy was made by Winchester in 1866 and was far superior to the Henry rifle. the Henry rifle loaded at the muzzle and due to a follower didn't have fore grips and as such got very hot to hold and was much harder to load. where the yellow boy has a side loading gate and wood fire grips. you might be confused as both rifles had brass recivers.
