This book is an example of what Nora Roberts does best!
This is just one of the Clifton series that I would recommend to anyone that loves a mystery. Jeffrey Archer spins a wonderful story that spans years and that is so full of twist and turns that it keeps you anticipating the next chapter in the characters lives.
Sebastian is my favorite character because he is so real and so unassuming!
Alex Jennings does a great job of defining the characters through his interpretations of each conversation and interaction between characters.
I cannot wait to read the next in the series - I must know what has happened to the characters and the ship!
Unexpected; Surprising; Satisfying
The overall storyline was so unusual - there were stories within the story - plots within the plot and surprises at every turn.
It's isn't enough to say the characters were brought to life - they were right there with you the entire book. It was as if you were part of every scene.
Sandra Brown has always been one of my favorite authors - however, this is by far the best novel I have read/listened to over the past few years! It really kept your attention and provided so many surprises that I wanted to keep driving just to listen to the book!
I am enjoying the Harlan Coben books on audio. It allows me to drown out everything around me - generally that means airport noise! Listening to the words allows your imagination to portray each and every character. Of course I love Myron, but he really brings to life each and every individual. Absolute recommendation!
Tess Geristsen is a perfectionist when it comes to creating a puzzle with many edges! Loved the flow of the storyline with different view points. Love it when you don't see it coming!
Loved this book; witty; great background and attention to detail - someone did alot of research about the characters and their work.
Stuart Woods is a master at mystery. I loved the way he took international issues and made Katherine vuneralble and yet so strong. Great flow and I loved the twist at the end!
Once you begin this book you won't want to put it down! I loved the way it puts it out there that we all have choices and making the right one or the wrong one will follow us throughout life!
I wonder what is in someone's mind to compell them to murder - Compulsion is a good novel to explore those thoughts while telling a very enjoyable story.
I wish Michael Palmer wrote more books! This is a great novel with much to do about life as well as murder. The characters truly come alive. This is my favorite book of the year and I loved the plot twists!
Sandra Brown always tells a good story - this time is no different. When she is telling the story she introduces many characters and pretty soon you are getting ideas as to who could have committed the murder. There are some unexpected twists - but the ending is most satisfactory - and of course, their is passion and love!
