Now, as Turek readies an all-out attack on the Nexus system - a key conquest that could seal the rest of the galaxy's doom - Ky must rally to the challenge, draw upon every last reserve of her strategic skills, and reach deep if she is to tear from the ashes of tragedy her most decisive victory.

Jean says: "The last book in the series"
    "A Fine Victory Indeed"
    Overall

If you followed the Vatta's War series from the beginning you know what to expect. as the story wraps up nicely leaving just enough open to make you want a sequel. The narrator barely falters as she keeps up her inflection based character swap. The story is a little more fast paced as the story begins to come a close. as new characters are introduced some go through changes others are swept aside and more secrets are kept and revealed. a great listen.

Twelve-year-old Eon has been training for years. His intensive study of Dragon Magic, based on Oriental astrology, involves two kinds of skills: sword-work and magical aptitude. He and his master hope that he will be chosen as a Dragoneye - an apprentice to one of the 12 energy dragons of good fortune.

But Eon has a dangerous secret. He is actually Eona, a 16-year-old girl who has been masquerading as a 12-year-old boy for the chance to become a Dragoneye.

Levi says: "Fun, intriguing and addicting!"
    "A Fun Ride"
    Overall

While this is billed under Audible Kids. It's far more than that. Eon Dragoneye Reborn Is a story about the quest for identity. The story itself is an excellent listen and The Narrator does an excellent job coveying the myriad of emotions experienced by the characters. There are themes about sexuality and gender that may be more mature for younger listeners without being vulgar. Older kids will enjoy the adventure itself, younger kids may have questions. Several characters are likable especially Eon. Eon is surrounded by allies and enemies who all have their own quirks and problems. One of the stand out characters Lady Delia(?), is a mystery all to her own self. Eon while likable is frustratingly dense and makes you want to listen to see if she gets it and what'll happen next. Well worth the purchase and hopefully Audible will pick up the sequel.

Thousands of autonomous computer programs, or daemons, make our networked world possible, running constantly in the background of our lives, trafficking e-mail, transferring money, and monitoring power grids. For the most part, daemons are benign, but the same can't always be said for the people who design them.

Erica says: "Possibly The Best Techno-thriller Ever"
"Like, Gibson and Stephenson? Here comes Suarez"
    Overall

Set in a day after tommorrow setting Daemon Like Snow Crash and The Traveler before it paints a familar picture filled with modern and next-gen technology. The productions use a single narrator who is supplemented by a computerized voice when speaking for the titular Daemon. The story not without it's problem which don't detract from the plot is fast moving and leaves a backdoor for the future volume which hopefully will resolve the tale.

Honor Harrington has been exiled to Basilisk station and given an antique ship to police the system. The vindictive superior who sent her there wants her to fail. But he made one mistake: he's made her mad....

    Overall

After long last Honor Harrington arrives at Audible. David Weber's Military Sc-Fi series finally gets the Audio Treatment It deserves. 11+ books and growing. The narrator tries to match Honor's inflections with mixed results as her voice is Hit or Miss with the Others. Honor's Origin story is filled with intrigue and mystery. Weber does an excellent Job of seeing through the eyes of not only Honor But her enemies and crew as well. Weber's Universe is filled with semi-realistic science with the battles matching sea Battles rather than the super quick Star Trek types. The Battles will last for chapters and pages and seen from inside both ships. If you don't mind long exposition you'll enjoy the Book. Fans should have little worry.

When They attacked the Vatta Family the Pirates made a mistake. They left the 3 most Dangerous members Alive. As the Ladies of Vatta and their allies rally. The Plot grows Bigger. The Story still Moves at a rapid pace and The Narrator still uses the Inflection change for the characters. If you followed the story from the beginning it still what you've come to expect. and it's worth waiting for the Final volumes(?)

The brilliantly unorthodox Kylara Vatta - black-sheep scion of Vatta Transport Ltd., one of the galaxy's wealthiest merchant houses - is a heroine like no other, blessed with a killer instinct both for business and for battle. Now, in the aftermath of cold-blooded assassinations that have left her parents dead and the Vatta shipping empire shattered, Kylara faces her greatest challenge yet. There is a time for grief and a time for revenge. This is decidedly the latter.

    Jean says: "forming a fleet"

    Overall

Barely surviving her last battle Ky tries to rest only to have More obstacles in her way. With Rafe and Martin by her side she makes plans to bring the fight back to those who targeted her. Meanwhile Stella Has her own Problems and Aunt Gracie Lane team with Ky's former "Tor"mentor to find how deep the plot goes. After 3 Books The narrator has eased into the role. No Falsetto's here. Only her inflection changes when she switches characters or male or female. She brings Ky a Human voice and brings the story to life. if you listened to the previous books not much has changed but the continuing story. If you held out this long the story makes it worth the listen.

Although the exciting military career she hoped for never got off the ground, Ky Vatta ended up seeing plenty of combat when she took the helm of one of the commercial transport vessels in her family's fleet...and steered it into a full-blown war. Now the lessons she learned in that trial by fire are about to pay off---because this time, the war has come to her. Someone has launched a full-throttle offensive against Vatta Transport Ltd., Ky's father's interstellar shipping empire.

Ky Vatta returns and she's in deeper trouble than before. Ky is growing to be a great character who through her charm and resolve earns the respect of those much older and experienced than her. When the Plot against her family proves to be bigger than she realizes. Ky teams with her Infamous cousin Stella and her Eccentric Great Aunt Gracie who both are more than they seem. Ky is getting for the fight of her life as she makes a decision to where her path will lead. And It will cost her blood in more ways than one.

"Ky Is No "Honor" And It's A Good Thing!"
    Overall

Being a fan of David Weber's Honor Harrington Series. and being a fan of Elizabeth Moon's Deeds of Paksnerrion (Spelling) I had high hopes for this title. The story is a good start with a likable character Ky. Ky starts the story a promising young recruit who ends up in hot water. To alleviate this her family trusts her with a mission that ends her up in more hot water. The narrator does an excellent job. By only giving Ky a specific voice she escapes the mistake some narrator make when speaking for a character of an opposite sex by speaking in the irritating falsetto. I look forward to see what happens next. The story moves at an excellent pace and builds the characters enough not to be blanks.

From the author of Jennifer Government and Company, Comes another satirical masterpiece. This Time his target is Marketing. Nestled among Seattle's skyscrapers, The Zephyr Holdings Building is a bleak rectangle topped by an orange-and-black logo that gives no hint of Zephyr's business. Lack of clarity, it turns out, is Zephyr's defining characteristic. The floors are numbered in reverse. No one has ever seen the CEO or glimpsed his office on the first (i.e., top) floor. Yet every day people clip on their ID tags, file into the building, sit at their desks, and hope that they're not about to be outsourced.
