The only word can use is WOW!!!!!!!!!
The scene with Anita and John-Claude in the bathroom.
When Anita wanted to save both Richard and John-Claude
This is a MUST read book!
Yes, this book is on top of my list to tell friends about.
Yes, it was a greT read and well with getting to anyone who wants a little mystery but not don to the point of annoyance.
Actually, I think this was better then Syamore Row. The plot had twists and tirns, a true guessing game as "who done It" book,
I would rank this in the middle.
Michael Beck made the story come to life!
No, I listen in segments.
The book, for me, dragged the first 2 parts. Although it had a feeling of mystery, there were too many details with the other characters. The first two parts set the stage for what Mississippi was like back in the 1980's. That was interesting but I felt some of it had nothing to do with the story line. Some will argue with me over that but it was dragging along with all the details. The last part, had more action. My biggest disappointment was when the lawyer, Brigance, was touting he was going to defend Hubbard's will no matter what, gave in to the Judge's request for sharing the inheritance. If he was going head to head with all the others involved why did he give in at all? He said he would fulfill Hubbard's request but he didn't.
On of the best! The suspense kept me listening for hours! Only had the audio version.
Annabell and her determination
The tone brought depth to the story.
The storyline took me by surprise. When I first stated to listen I thought oh no another flakey in the future book. Boy, was I wrong.
I can't compare this to anything else
Just loved this book and hope there will be more to come.
Near the bottom in my list
None that I have read so far
The end with Faye and Francis
Was ok but it has too many plots within plots. Some parts I just fell asleep while listening. Got confusing in other areas of the book so I just skipped then and when I did fall asleep I didn't bother to back track what I missed. It was just a filler type book when you can't find anything else at the present. Unusual to say the least. I am not considering getting Book 2 at the present.
Bronson Pinchot held my attention to the book but the plot really didn't. He voice changes from one character to another was superb. You could actually visualize what the character looked like just by Mr. Pinchot's voice.
Totally different, something you wouldn't expect.
No other book that I have read is like Mogworld.
Laugh mostly. Got a little tedious near the end.
Gives you a little laugh, a chuckle here and there. Something that is totally different and unusal. Love the "gang" and their witty comments.
No I wouldn't.
Have less history facts. The book is for history buffs.
Just too tedious to listen to but I am determined to finish it.
The whole storyline was great
I listen to my audio books at night. It seems to be better with no distractions around ou.
Yes, only of they were a fan of the series. Others might not like all the sex that goes on between Anita and others.
Can't compare. Each one has their own flare.
Not really. Although, she might be good with other books, with this particular series her accent lacks a accent.
Love the book as with all Vampire Hunters books
None so far
Yes and yes and yes. John Claude sounds like a female and no accent at all. This narrator has a way with the end of the sentences should like, she has a frog inherent throat. Totally distracts from the story. No inflection on her voice and the accent of one character is so terrible it is hard to understand. Sorry narrator.
Well, right now I am trying to understand the book due to the narrator.
