Whether it's the adventures of Greek gods and goddesses or Norse trickster tales, we all love to hear a good story. Best-selling author Kenneth C. Davis gives readers a taste of these enchanting myths and the diverse people who tell them. In his trademark question-and-answer style peppered with entertaining sidebars and quotes, he also shows how almost every civilization's mythology shares common themes.

This collection covers myths from around the world. I got a very informative background on many of the key ideas behind different mythological cultures. However, after two hours I found listening to the remaining myths getting a little dry. This is definitely a good listen but not stimulating enough for children.

Analyze. Assess. Explore. Create...If the decisions you make are important, this is the most important self-improvement program you will ever take. You'll learn how to improve your thinking, shape events - not react to them, enhance your creativity and leadership ability, and more.

I hope my old school taught me a lesson on how to think systematically... Now de Bono filled this gap! I use this approach whenever I need to write my university papers, as well as to compile a long term plan for my volunteer work. It takes no effort at all to remember this thinking process--all it takes is a look at my own body and I'll know which of the six steps I am working on.

I recommend his "Six Thinking Hat" approach as well. The two skills complement each other very well.
