Keira Kelly has come into her full powers, and they are frighteningly strong, creating a distance between her and her human friends in her beloved Rio Seco. It is time to obey her great-great-grandmother Gigi's orders and rejoin her family in northwest Canada, where Keira can learn to handle her dangerous new skills. She'll have friends with her every step of the way - her shapeshifter brother Tucker, his beloved Niko, and, to Keira's dismay, her cousin on her mother's side, Daffyd ap Geraint, the Sidhe prince who suddenly appeared in her life and now refuses to leave - but her vampire lover, Adam, has insisted on staying in Texas.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Eldritch Conspiracy to be better than the print version?

    About the same

What did you like best about this story?

I have enjoyed all these books in this series and I think it took a to a new level when she had to live life as the royal do and see the other side. I did enjoy this book and look forward to the next one.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I think when the angel to came to help when she was trapped. I love to see this explored more in the future. I think it is good that she is not seen as evil and that she has a chance at faith just like the rest of the people in the story.

    Any additional comments?

I love these books and always look forward to the next one.

Half-Navajo Janet Begay possesses extraordinary power that is tied to the storms that waft across the desert. The only person who can control her when she's caught in the storm's evocative power is Mick, a dark-haired, blue-eyed biker Janet can't seem to touch with her powers. He can wield fire and not get burned, and Janet's never sure where he goes when they're not together.

A member of a powerful paranormal family, Keira elected to stay among humans in the Texas Hill Country when the rest of the clan moved (lock, stock, and grimoire) to Canada. But family duty means still having to keep an eye on cousin Marty - a genetic aberration who turned out 100% human, poor guy. And recently Keira's been having violent dreams - or are they visions?

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I really like the story and the people in the story. I understand the Maria Lima reading it and sharing with us the story and for that I am thankful coming from someone who eye sight is not the best anymore. I would have love to have a different narrator but also would love to see all the books put into audio so I could hear all the books because it is a interesting story no matter who the narrator is.

What other book might you compare Matters of the Blood (Blood Lines, Book 1) to and why?

    Rachel Vincent Werecat series

    Any additional comments?

I would really like to see all 5 books in audio.

The ever after, the demonic realm that parallels our own, is shrinking, and if it disappears, so does all magic. It’s up to witch-turned-daywalking-demon Rachel Morgan to fix the ever-after before the fragile balance between magic users and humans fails. Of course, there’s also the small fact that she caused the ley line to rip in the first place, and her life is forfeit unless she can fix it.

What did you love best about Ever After?

I have followed these books from the beginning and I really enjoyed how this book was going. I would love to see romance interest go some where but I also love how all the people in the story are growing and changing. I laughed, and cried with this book and I look forward to see what Kim Harrison comes up with next for Rachel, Jinx, Ivy, And Trent.

What does Marguerite Gavin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

This is a wonderful story reader. I love any book that Marguerite Gavin does. She brings the people in the stories to life.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Growth of a Demon.

    Any additional comments?

I do hope others enjoy it as much as I did.
