"I love her books - but the reader was not good"
I have read (paperback) several Scarpetta novels - and have always enjoyed them - but this narrator just ruined it for me. Monotone, monotone, monotone - get the idea. I didn't even finish it...waste of money
"Twilight at Monticello"
I don't know if it is the reader....or the subject matter....but this was the dullest book I have ever downloaded. All the interesting and tittalating things about Jefferson were completely glossed (or should I say dronned) over.
In a word....boring.
"Good Listen"
I did enjoy this story - although it did go on a bit long and she tends to repeat a lot. And the whole scenerio of time-travel back in history was totally unnecessary - it would have been just as readable without that bit of science fiction.
But overall, its a steamy, sexy, fun listen.
