This was a book worth listening to. Paul's management philosophy is almost opposite to all other business leaders and he has been very sucessful. This really shows that there is no one formula for sucess and we all need to find what works for us best. Two key items I learned is the manage the work enviornment not the employee and how investing in employee's can pay huge dividents.
Narration by the author.
There is no meat in this book, all this seems like is a political biography to prepare her for the next office she seeks.
Disappointment. I don't see her story much different than any other immigrant family story, infact her story is very bland.
This is nothing but a book without any meat or substance. It seems to me that its designed to be used to further her political career. Nothing else.
I was very excited to listen to this book because I love Regis and he was the narrator. It turned out be really boring, he does a poor job of setting up the background. Regis is pretty old so all the people he describes in his younger days are not know to most people and it was impossible to relate.
It was ok but the content was too dated.
Great book, Great narrator and great content. This book is very valuable to anyone looking to start a business or already running a small business. Norm's insights are great and advice is invaluable.
The best thing about this book is that its interesting to listen to, i am listening for the second time. It's worth your money and time.
The author has some great points on how to present to a prospect but also holds out information (he says it himself). I did not like the fact that he spends almost 40% of the book on his great Olympic bid presentation for London and felt like all that was just to stroke his ego. Also, the author is British and should have used a British person to record this .. it would have been certainly more fun.
This author will put you to sleep, don't listen to this book while driving. The content is all common sense stuff but can't say definitively cause I just could not listen to this more than an hour ...
The book kinda sucked .. filled with all the tennis politics and details which may be interesting to some but bored me .. Plus Pete should have taking the time to narrate this ... I want my money back.
I really liked listening to James Caan. He engaged me from the beginning and his life story is truly amazing. I could not put the iPod down until I finished the book.
Its a mix of the Secret and the 4 hr work week. Both are my favorite books. Also lot of original content and advise.
Not sure why its so highly rated. I am still trying to finish this but the story is very disconnected ...
I really enjoyed listening to this book. It helped that author was the narrator. Her journey is absolutely amazing.
