So far the book I like most of Dyer, who is one of my favourite Audible authors. It really inspires me, just as the title promises. I listen to this recording whenever I feel down and it always reminds me that I can feel different, that I can choose again, that I can change my mind, that God is with me wherever I am. I like the quotes of A Course in Miracles and Castaneda, it is a pity that there is so little of the Course in Audible and nothing of Castaneda (copyright issues?).
Marianne Willliamson is always inspiring, and I like that she reads her own books, she is a good reader and the author always conveys more.
Maybe this is not a masterpiece, but it has insights on the topics of work and money.
I like Marianne Willliamson, and I like this audio.
I like the topic of the "shadow", I find it very enlightening in many ways. But this audio did not catch my attention, and my mind wandered easily after listening for a while; perhaps it was the reading, maybe it is too slow ...
Thank you so much for this nice gift and for reminding us the true spirit of Christmas, the spirit of giving and sharing; it is great the gesture coming from a global corporation as yours. My wish is that we all follow you example. Merry Christmas.
Very interesting to know details about the life of such a man, so detached from the opinions of others, trusting and following his own intuitions till the end of his days; and at the same time always gentle. There are also lots of amusing stories and anecdotes; I enjoyed the listening. I rate four stars because I missed some more about his relationship with the spiritual realm, with God (the well-known "God does not play dice" and little more).
If you like A Course in Miracle this is for you, if you do not know it is still great material and maybe you discover something: thoughts (literally quoted) from the Course plus a nice music reminding us to refocus our mind in what is real, beyond illusions, and tuning the mind into a peaceful meditative mode. What else can I ask? I wish there was more of the Course in Audible
I found what the title offers
The idea or belief that we create our life as it is, is put forth in a simple and easy way that pervades the mind trespassing the barriers of the ego. Nevertheless it is exactly the same thing Shakti Gwain tells in her book Creative Visualization - point by point -; maybe more amusingly told in The Secret. Anyway I highly recomend it, and better still is watching the movie because the ideas are more visually and graphicly put.
A clear, inspiring and amusing compendium of Tolle's teachings about the power of NOW, the power of the present moment as the only moment for true peace and happiness ("you can't find yourself in time, you can only find yourself in the now")
The god this sermon describes is the antithesis of love; is a god to fear, a god of revenge and fury. What the author tells almost proves that salvation is impossible with such a god, that looks more a punisher than a father.
And who would want salvation at such a price, if this is what we shall find when we attain it?
But God, as Jesus taught, and furthermore, as I feel from the depth of my soul, is pure Love, pure Joy; and this is God's Final Judgment (upon his sons): "You are still My holy Son, forever innocent, forever loving and forever loved, as limitless as your Creator, and completely changeless and forever pure" he tells us.
