This author does a masterful job of illuminating the complex causes of the current economic crisis through the voices of key players in the demise of Goldman. Great read by a fine narrator.
This book is an absolute pleasure to listen to. It is fun, informative and extremely well read. What more can you ask for?
I bought this based soley on the Audible promo featuring Stephen King's Review. Big mistake. I could only listen for about one half hour and gave up. To me, the writing style is amateurish and the narrator reads as if he is addressing an audience of pre schoolers. I strongly suggest sampling this before you buy it. The 3 stars is a guess. Could be better, could be worse. I will never know.
This is a cleverly written, thoughtful and authentic portrayal of trial as it is experienced by trial lawyers. Scott Turow is to the legal suspense novel what John Le Carre is to the spy genre. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good read by a master of the craft.
