I thought the beginning stories about his childhood were wonderful. But I started to lose interest the longer the book went on. By the end, the Hollywood years, I was bored. However, I loved Craig Ferguson's reading. He comes across as funny, self deprecating, smart and good hearted. I appreciated how he walked a line between being honest about his struggles and the events in his life while being respectful of the people in his past.
