  • Should've Been a Cowboy

    • UNABRIDGED (5 hrs and 39 mins)
    • By Vicki Lewis Thompson
    • Narrated By Zoe Hunter

Party organizer Tyler O'Connelli is on the fast track to her dream career. She's so close she can almost taste it. But when she returns to her family and sees her one-night stand, Alex Keller, all done up in his cowboy gear, her self-control is stretched to the breaking point….

    "Somebody PLEASE fire that narrator!!!"

This book was mutilated by the narrator. The accents were horrid. The pacing and pronunciations were wretched. The book could have been so much better if not for the narrator making it sooooo bad. I hope she doesn't do the whole series.

  • Elijah: Nightwalkers Series, Book 3

    • UNABRIDGED (11 hrs and 16 mins)
    • By Jacquelyn Frank
    • Narrated By Xe Sands

Some feelings you just can't fight. He is known as the Warrior Captain - a master of every weapon, a fierce soldier sworn to protect his kind. Powerful, relentless, merciless, Elijah has always won every battle he's ever taken on - until now. Ambushed by necromancers, he is left for dead only to be discovered by the woman who could very well deliver the final blow: Siena, the Lycanthrope Queen.

    "Xe Sands makes the series!!!!"

I have simply fallen in love with this series. What an amazing world Jacquelyn Frank has weaved for us. It's just simply amazing. I LOVED Elijah. Who knew the man who would joke and laugh with Isabella was such a fierce lover? YUMMY! I also loved the way he adapted to a situation that NO ONE could have expected. Sienna, I think rubbed me a bit of the wrong way in the beginning but I loved her by the end.

The fight between the nightwalkers and the necromancers and hunters also heated up in this book. I really can't wait to see what happens next. And I really want Ruth to get hers.

And once again Xe Sands has made this book for me. Her expert narration and wonderful voice interpretations from the accents to the inflections and intonations. She's amazing. It's a shame I can't get her to read all of my audiobooks. LOL

I'm now onto Damien, however, I must wait for the audiobook to come out later this month, because I don't think I can read the books now. I HAVE to listen to them on audio! :)

  • Irresistible Fortune

    • UNABRIDGED (7 hrs and 49 mins)
    • By Wendy Etherington
    • Narrated By Shelley Landon

Notorious womanizer and treasure hunter Gavin Fortune is after a local sunken ship—and Brenna McGary is determined to stop him. History shouldn't be sold off by the piece! Unfortunately, the infuriating Gavin knows how to use his best assets to get his way…and Brenna's fury is looking a lot like sweet, sweet lust.

    "The Narrator Ruined It"

This book could have been better but the narrator really ruined it. Her voice was very monotone, she wasn't good at consistently doing the characters voices, and her pacing was horrible! I feel bad for the author because this woman butchered her book.
