Early on a May morning in 1979, six-year-old Etan Patz set off for school on his own for the first time. He vanished, and for three decades his case both frustrated and exhausted police, the FBI, and a public heartbroken by the tragedy. Then, suddenly, the police in 2012 announced that a former bodega clerk from the Manhattan neighborhood where Etan lived had confessed to killing the boy. Detectives were convinced they had the boy’s murderer, and prosecutors soon indicted the man, Pedro Hernandez.

The anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts one of the most dramatic stories in American history—how one gunshot changed the country forever. In the spring of 1865, the bloody saga of America's Civil War finally comes to an end after a series of increasingly harrowing battles. President Abraham Lincoln's generous terms for Robert E. Lee's surrender are devised to fulfill Lincoln's dream of healing a divided nation. But one man and his band of murderous accomplices are not appeased....

What made the experience of listening to Killing Lincoln the most enjoyable?

    Bill O'Reilly

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoy everything about Lincoln and this book was so well done.

What about Bill O'Reilly’s performance did you like?

Bill just makes you believe in him and what he is saying. I trust what he tells me. I listen to all his books

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When President Lincoln was shot it's hard to imagine how he suffered. We are so fortunate to be in this day and age with modern medicine.

    Any additional comments?

    Another book very well done

After his December 2003 arrest, registered nurse Charlie Cullen was quickly dubbed "The Angel of Death" by the media. But Cullen was no mercy killer, nor was he a simple monster. He was a favorite son, husband, beloved father, best friend, and celebrated caregiver. Implicated in the deaths of as many as 300 patients, he was also perhaps the most prolific serial killer in American history.

If you could sum up The Good Nurse in three words, what would they be?

    Really? No Way.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

The fact that hospitals knew this was happening but washed their hands of it and turned away when in fact they should have done something about it. We all have a responsibility to stop people like this.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I liked the book but felt it could have been told quicker, less chapters, still good.

    Any additional comments?

Shame on all the Hospitals for allowing this man to continue to move from Hospital to Hospital killing patients. They should be fined or something.

Would you consider the audio edition of Finding Me to be better than the print version?

Not sure I haven't read the printed version, thats why I buy Audible.

What did you like best about this story?

That's its true, there was a happy ending. I just can't imagine what those girls really went through. Yes I know the book tells us but the book could never do justice. I just can't understand how no one knew they were there? Why didn't his daughter check out the house more. Why hasn't anyone followed up with the visitors in the house, they had to suspect something!!!!

Have you listened to any of Maria Cabezas’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No I Haven't, but I will now

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole book moved me, I couldn't put it down. I was sitting in front of my TV when the girls were released.

    Any additional comments?

I am proud and sad for these girls...

The tragic story of Susan Powell and her murdered boys, Charlie and Braden, is the only case that rivals the Jon Benet Ramsey saga in the annals of true crime. When the pretty, blonde Utah mother went missing in December of 2009 the media was swept up in the story - with lenses and microphones trained on Susan's husband, Josh. He said he had no idea what happened to his young wife, and that he and the boys had been camping in the middle of a snowstorm.

For more than two years, Miep Gies and her husband helped hide the Franks from the Nazis. Like thousands of unsung heroes of the Holocaust, they risked their lives each day to bring food, news, and emotional support to the victims. From her own remarkable childhood as a World War I refugee to the moment she places a small, red-orange, checkered diary -- Anne's legacy -- in Otto Frank's hands, Miep Gies remembers her days with simple honesty and shattering clarity.

    Way up there!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Anne Frank Remembered?

Many, what I didn't know was how Ann and her family came to be in the Attic and who would sacrifice so much, their lives, to hide them. This story tells that side and how the relationship began and why.

She did a beautiful job and was pleasant to listen to

In this riveting audio, an award-winning Canadian author delves into the gritty, gruesome details of the most notorious spree killers, school shooters, and serial killers the world has ever seen. They will feel that their own lives are over, and aim to take as many people with them as they can. Once their killing spree is over, they most often either commit suicide, or force the police to use deadly force against them, in other words, suicide by cop.

For two thousand years, cadavers have been involved in science's boldest strides and weirdest undertakings. They've tested France's first guillotines, ridden the NASA Space Shuttle, been crucified in a Parisian laboratory to test the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin, and helped solve the mystery of TWA Flight 800. For every new surgical procedure, from heart transplants to gender reassignment surgery, cadavers have been there alongside surgeons, making history in their quiet way.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would, There are so many things I did not know and its not gruesome or bloody its information for those who are interested in unusual facts about the human body.

What other book might you compare Stiff to and why?

None that I know of yet, I did purchase Gulp but haven't read it yet. Soon

Which character – as performed by Shelly Frasier – was your favorite?

Really I don't know, I was just fascinated by all the information and I had no clue.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Neither, it's not that kind of book. This book is about brave people who have donated their bodies to science so I can be safer in my car, if murdered find better clues, just too many to mention as to the advances their bodies have helped provide.

    Any additional comments?
