"Compelling writing, GREAT two actors"
Would you listen to Conversations with God Book 3 again? Why?I have already listened to CWG3 several times. Asner and Burstyn (both as s/he Deity) give nuanced, subtle reads full of love, humor and insight. Who cares if it's God's writing or Walsch? As is stated over and over again, if it makes sense and helps you lead a better life...who cares?
Who was your favorite character and why?I refuse to choose - Asner and Burstyn are both remarkable.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?The narrators, wonderful actors both, bring an INVESTMENT to the material that doesn't HAMMER it at you...but it obviously deeply felt.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?It did better than make me laugh or cry...it made me think. Do I BELIEVE in The Gospel of Neale Donald Walsch chapter and verse? No. But that is exactly the book's message.
Any additional comments?This is perhaps the tenth audiobook I have listened to start to finish. It and Book I (perhaps even MORE so in Book I) are FAR AND AWAY the best use of audiobooks I have encountered.

"A Tremendous Achievemnt fo ANY Audiobook"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?YES...I have already gifted it to several people. DON'T PUSH IT AT PEOPLE. The work and the performance wil speak for themselves.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Conversations with God, Book 1?Not the moments...the performances. Asner and Burstyn, both stellar performers, give subtle, nuanced reads. Walsch (as himself) does his best, and he's not bad, but he can't keep up with these two.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?The very, very end.

"Still VERY useful info...but dated and shrill"
What did you like best about Words That Work? What did you like least?BEST: Luntz's deeply intelligent, thoughtful commit ment to the use of LANGUAGE that strikes the LISTENER's ear most persuasively. Example: SHARED SACRIFICE = no way. WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER = um...keep talking. Words matter a great deal. And picking the RIGHT words for your target audience is crucial.
WORST: The performance is delivered as if it's a play-by-play for a bootball game tied in the fourth quarter! Rapid-fire shrillness has made me turn it off and go back to the print MANY times.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)Never got there

Do you think Words That Work needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?Needs a later edition - alas, much of what is covered is ancient political history.
