Academy Award nominee Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) rocks this mock bedtime story, capturing a hilarious range of emotions as the voice of a father struggling to get his child to sleep. Go the F**k to Sleep is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world, where a few snoozing kitties and cutesy rhymes don’t always send a toddler sailing blissfully off to dreamland.

Rating -10 out of 5!!! downloaded this, not realizing what it was. It looks like just a cute kids book and it was free. I only listened to a shot piece and then realized what the true title was! I don't care if later on it may have been funny, the language is horrible, I'm not going to listen to that.

The Goldfinch is a haunted odyssey through present-day America and a drama of enthralling force and acuity. It begins with a boy. Theo Decker, a 13-year-old New Yorker, miraculously survives an accident that kills his mother. Abandoned by his father, Theo is taken in by the family of a wealthy friend. Bewildered by his strange new home on Park Avenue, disturbed by schoolmates who don't know how to talk to him, and tormented above all by his unbearable longing for his mother, he clings to one thing that reminds him of her: a small, mysteriously captivating painting that ultimately draws Theo into the underworld of art.

What did you like best about The Goldfinch? What did you like least?

I really liked the beginning when he was with his mom.
Then after he left NY it was ruined for me with all of the swearing. I don't appreciate it in real life and really do not appreciate having to listen to it in a book.

Would you recommend The Goldfinch to your friends? Why or why not?

I have nit finished it yet.

What about David Pittu’s performance did you like?

I think he did a fine job.

What did you like about this audiobook?

    Left me wanting more.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

Interesting thought, kind of a weird question thinking about real aliens taking over the world.. Too sci-fi of thought for me.

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

Being very detailed. Very interesting the interaction between Melanie and Wanda. I laughed out loud when Melanie hit Jared.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

Nothing, she did an excellent job.
