Carl Cravens says: "Great story, enjoyable British humour."
    "Hilarious"
    Overall

This book was just hilarious. I've listened to half a dozen books in the series. This is my favorite. The sound quality did seem a little off. But not enough to stop me from enjoying the book

Boomstick. Samurai bat. Motorcycle leather. And the will to live among the unliving. Augustus Berry lives a day-to-day existence comprised of waking up, getting drunk, and preparing for the inevitable day when "they" will come up the side of his mountain and penetrate his fortress. Living on the outskirts of a city and scavenging for whatever supplies remain after civilization died two years ago, Gus knows that every time he goes down into undead suburbia could be his last.

What did you like best about this story?

The friendship between the two men was so real. The zombie story was almost an aside. This drew me into the story in a way I seldom am.

Ensign Andrew Dahl has just been assigned to the Universal Union Capital Ship Intrepid, flagship of the Universal Union since the year 2456. Life couldn’t be better…until Andrew begins to pick up on the facts that (1) every Away Mission involves some kind of lethal confrontation with alien forces; (2) the ship’s captain, its chief science officer, and the handsome Lieutenant Kerensky always survive these confrontations; and (3) at least one low-ranked crew member is, sadly, always killed.

Ken says: "It's all about the codas"

What made the experience of listening to Redshirts the most enjoyable?

The humor and the reference to old sci-fi movies.the dialogue was very entertaining.

What did you like best about this story?

Very clever idea for a story.

Would you be willing to try another one of Wil Wheaton’s performances?

    yes, without a doubt

    Any additional comments?

The narrator seem to have only one voice. This work out okay in the story because of the rather annoying constant repetition of " he said she said, etc." This being said, narrator did a very good job of capturing the tone of the dialogue.

For a vampire killer like Jane, having Leo Pellisier as a boss took some getting used to. But now, someone is out to take his place as Master Vampire of the city of New Orleans, and is not afraid to go through Jane to do it. After an attack that’s tantamount to a war declaration, Leo knows his rival is both powerful and vicious, but Leo’s not about to run scared. After all, he has Jane. But then, a plague strikes, one that takes down vampires and makes their masters easy prey.

Maureen says: "Best of the series by far!"

Totally kept my attention throughout the story, I found my self truly caring for Jane and Beast. I found it very interesting to see Beast reveal more of herself also as the story progressed. The ending left me stunned. I want more!

Danny North knew from early childhood that his family was different - and that he was different from them. While his cousins were learning how to create the things that commoners called fairies, ghosts, golems, trolls, werewolves, and other such miracles that were the heritage of the North family, Danny worried that he would never show a talent, never form an "outself"....

One of the few books I bought this year that I did not finish listening to. I suggest that you listen to the sample before you purchase.
