The Doctor's old friend and fellow Time Lord Professor Chronotis has retired to Cambridge University - where nobody will notice if he lives for centuries. But now he needs help from the Doctor, Romana, and K-9. When he left Gallifrey he took with him a few little souvenirs - most of them are harmless. But one of them is extremely dangerous. The Worshipful and Ancient Law of Gallifrey isn't a book for Time Tots.It must not be allowed to fall into the wrong hands.

This is a great classic Dr Who story written with the impeccable humor and wit of Douglas Adams.

I'm not as familiar with Tom Baker's Doctor, or his companion Ramana, but that did not impact the quality of the story in the least.

I am a huge fan of the Hitchhiker's series as well as the sharp wordplay and wit of authors such as Terry Pratchett and love that this contained the same razor sharp edge to it. I caught myself giggling out loud several times through the story, while at the same time quite enthralled by the plot twists and turns that you'd expect with the Doctor.

I wasn't expecting the sound effects, but it was very good to hear the old theme song and the tardis coming and going at just the right moments. It was a nice touch for the audio book.

All in all the preformance and material surpassed my expectations. If you're a fan of Dr Who and Douglas Adams - this is a must read. If you're a fan of one or the other I definitely recommend giving it a try!
