Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I love this series and continue to love listening to the story. This story was good, but not my favorite in the series. There were some very dramatic moments and in my opinion, not enough Adam:)

What did you like best about this story?

I liked learning more about the new bonds between Mercy and Adam

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

Lorelei is always a great narrator. Keeps me involved

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, but it was a sad moment and I don't want to spoil it.

    Any additional comments?

This is a great fantasy series. It has fun characters with a lot of personality and a lot going on. Give it a try!

Laurel was mesmerized, staring at the pale things with wide eyes. They were terrifyingly beautiful - too beautiful for words. Laurel turned to the mirror again, her eyes on the hovering petals that floated beside her head. They looked almost like wings. In this extraordinary tale of magic and intrigue, romance and danger, everything you thought you knew about faeries will be changed forever.

What made the experience of listening to Wings the most enjoyable?

I think the narrator did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life! I have listened to this more than once and really hear each person

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Tamani! How can you not with that great accent and passion?

What about Mandy Siegfried’s performance did you like?

    Each character is so distinct!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think the first time Laurel meets Tamani. To find out what she is and realize her connection to him.

    Any additional comments?

If you like Twilight, you will like Wings. Give it a chance and you will be hooked. It is a different supernatural, but just as fun with a great love triangle.

What would have made Married with Zombies better?

I am not sure, but this is just one of those stories that I could not even finish. It seems like it should have kept me entertained, but didn't.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I need something with more characterization.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I think the narrator was probably the best part.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I think some people would like it, it just wasn't for me.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This was a story that I just could never get a connection to the characters. I wanted to, but I was bored throughout the story.

What was most disappointing about J. R. Rain’s story?

It was slow and I didn't feel a connection to the characters.

Would you be willing to try another one of Dina Pearlman’s performances?

    Maybe

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

None really, I think that was why I didn't like it

Before Stephanie can even step foot off Flight 127, Hawaii to Newark, she’s knee deep in trouble. Her dream vacation turned into a nightmare, and she’s flying back to New Jersey solo. Worse still, her seatmate never returned to the plane after the L.A. layover. Now he’s dead, in a garbage can, waiting for curbside pickup. His killer could be anyone. And a ragtag collection of thugs and psychos, not to mention the FBI, are all looking for a photograph the dead man was supposed to be carrying.

Would you consider the audio edition of Explosive Eighteen to be better than the print version?

No, I don't think the audios are better than the print. Sometimes I just have more time to fit audio into my life (but I read A LOT too).

What was one of the most memorable moments of Explosive Eighteen?

I love when you realize what really happened in Hawaii.

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

Lorelei does such a great job with the voices that I always feel as if there are so many different characters.

    Any additional comments?

I love Stephanie. This is definantly not one of my favorites (I think they have gone down a little after about 12), but I can't help but smile and laugh when I read them any way. I really wish she would settle down either way at this point though.

Would you listen to Seven Up again? Why?

Yes, and I am sure I have a couple times! This was part of my first favorite series. They are such fun and funny reads. I enjoy entire series.

What other book might you compare Seven Up to and why?

I think that it is a lot like the rest in the series, but when you compare the Stephanie character (spunky and funny) to other lead females I would say to try Darynda Jones, Victoria Laurie, Molly Harper, Margaret Maron. These are some of my favorites.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I love when they are in the church and Eddie starts shooting.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yep!

Once a devoted children's librarian, Jane Jameson now works at a rundown occult bookstore. Once a regular gal, she's now a vampire. And instead of a bride, she's an eternal bridesmaid -- which leads her to question where exactly her relationship with her irresistibly sexy sire, Gabriel, is headed. Mercurial, enigmatic, apparently commitment-phobic vampires are nothing if not hard to read.
