Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

what a spectacular novel. The personalities are deeply explored: sometimes dark and sometimes hilarious, without being hokey or overly-dramatic. the writing is fantastic, as are the readers. this audiobook is in my top 25 of all time

don't let the subject matter scare you off. yes, the premise is built upon a suicide, but this book is about so much more. great writing and the narrators were very easy to listen to. (the female voice sounds so much like Kristen Bell I just went ahead and pictured her as the main character)

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

I cannot explain how much I loved this story. I tried to tell my friends, but It's just too hard to easily express the coolness factor of the writing, narrating, detail...just purely amazing. i really hope someone adapts this to the screen, it's WONDERFUL. I'm not a gamer, but I am a child of the 80s (same age as Halliday!) so the references are pure gold. Listen! Soon!

In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue - Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is - she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
