"UltraMetabolism"
Over-the-top excellent information on how best to nourish and sustain our bodies and keep them healthy. Dr. Hyman's narrative is full of energy and promise. This is what's happening now: the knowledge of the how and why of failure of understanding of our food information and diet in contemporary America.
Makes sense.
Makes you want to think carefully about what you eat and what you don't eat!
"Summer in Tuscany (Unabridged)"
A delightful 'read'. I swear I could smell the air, taste the food; and now I want to pack my bags, say 'ciao', and head for Tuscany. I delighted in the small comical turns that Gemma encountered; and I think I've met her mother at least once.
Celeste Lawson's reading of this book is graceful and charming. And now I want more Elizabeth Adler books!
"The Last Juror"
I was surprised and charmed by this book. I expected another lawyer novel(all of which I've enjoyed); but I was surprised to find a story that reflected the life in Mississippi described by a relative outsider. How extraordinary this book was!! A very nice surprise.
Never expect less or more than you will receive.
