I waited a long time for this book to become available on Audible, and it was well worth the wait. If you loved the other SPQ books, you won't be disappointed. If you're a Mom, you will appreciate the wit and insight of this amazing woman.

Among the best, but I'm a huge Christopher Moore fan.

A variety of voices, perfect accents and timing. He's as brilliant as the Moore.

Don't drink coffee and listen. You will end up shooting it through your nose laughing as some point.

This book is well written and obviously well researched. The characters are engaging and interesting, whether you end up like them or not. At times it was a little brutal and graphic and you start to wonder if anything good will ever happen to the characters, but it is well worth sticking with. I love a novel that is both a good story and a learning opportunity and this book is both. Humphrey Bower does one of the best narrations I have ever heard and I have listened to over a hundred Audible books. Highly recommended!

I'm a 'horsey' person, so I found the details and facts regarding the horses to be both accurate and informative. The whole story is filled with wonderful characters that you come to know and like.

This story has a gentle, quiet quality about it makes listening to it a pleasure.

Martha, the main character.

Martha again. She is an old soul in a young body and I loved her connection with the horses and her simplicity.

Poorly written. Unrealistic. Dull and predicatable.

This story never really went anywhere.

Her male voices weren't very good.

This book is to funniest book I've ever listened too (and I've listened to a lot!) and I am now a die hard Christopher Moore fan. More than once I embarrassed myself in public by laughing and snorting out loud while listening on my ipod.

It's also not a great idea to drive, drink coffee and listen to this book because it will make coffee shoot out of your nose while you're trying not to choke from laughter.

Seriously, I loved this book, the characters, the narration, and the story. It was fantastic!

This book is one of those easy listens that keeps you laughing and intersted all the way through. It's a funny enough story on its own, but the narration takes it right to the top. If they gave out Oscars for narration, he would win. The weird 'quirks' of the characters and situations make it humorous (in a twisted kind of way) that I found hilarous. If you only need one good reason to listen to this book, here it is....Tool. Trust me, once you get there, you'll realize that he is the true gem of this book.

Any woman over the age of 30 will love this book! It is funny, informative and will become one of your favorites. I never listen to a book more than once, but I replay all my SPQ books over and over. It's like getting together with your best friend over a pitcher of margariatas!!

This is one of the best books I've ever 'read'. The narrator is fantastic and the story will keep your attention! The horsey details are very accurate and the characters are perfectly nasty! A book/horse nuts perfect read!
