Sad, Compelling, Touching
When you hear how much the survivors had to stick up for their point of views
The story of the pursuit for truth
Its amazing what you find out in a backstory. It took along time for this side of the story to come out but the facts revealed are both frightening and sad.
That it brought pieces of previous books into play and let characters from those books come out to play
That Bruiser and Jane became a couple and that you can see his unconditional love for her
This is the only place I've heard Ms. Hvam but she's amazing
Where Jane is badly burned and both Ely and Bruiser try to come up with ideas on how to help her
I love this series. Just when you think you can't be surprised, you are. I especially like how she visited other books from the series and some of the characters. I like how her characters good or bad have personality.
I will listen to it multiple times. First relisten in case I missed something. Then because I love Faith's books.
That Bruiser finally get Jane's attention n that she excepts it.
Khristine Hvam is Jane, when I hear her voice I see Jane. She makes very few pronounciations errors. I love her voice.
I do to every book in this series. Faith does that to you. You can't help but feel what Jane feels.
The hardest thing is waiting for the next book. So you will revisit the other books. But you continue to enjoy the story. Jane, Beast, Bruiser, Ely, Alex, Leo, Rick, someone has ur heart. Books can be addicting and Jane Yellowrock is too. Thank you Faith.
The adventures of the young Cory and his world.
I can't think of any book that compares to Boy's Life. Its that amazing.
Here I wasn't happy. I have the abridged version with Richard Thomas n hoped he'd do the unabridged. The narrator didn't use a southern accent of that place and time. And his mispronouncation words was a disappointment. Like he pronounced Chile as Chil
(Ch-eye-l) when its pronounced Chilly.
When the main character Cory went to sit at his friends grave.
This is an amazing story about a time in life when the world is an amazing place filled with magic. When you and your friends have great adventures. It makes you wish you were there too.
This wasn't my fave book. Rick remains a man whore n Jane takes it. I know she has issues but dam.
I love Jane n beast. I was hooked after the first book. I was just disappointed.
Always! The author is amazing n talented.
The narration is always good.
I'd like to set Rickybo on fire n put him out with a fork.
It's creepy under tone
You can't see what's coming next.
Very well told
When Mr Constantine saw the scarecrow of Worthy Pettinger
My best friends mom read this when I was 13. She would read us parts n I couldn't wait till I had my own copy. So it was nice to listen to it decades later. I liked the writers intro, it's sets a pace to the story.
No not ready
Very much so. You can visualize things like the farm n the general.
Nothing he was great
I love Terry Brooks n this was a nice step away from the Shanara series. Its a good story that draws u in.
The battle between good and evil.
No. I have to work but it was listened to everyday.
Waiting on installments 2 n 3. A Knight of the Word n Angel Fire East. I hope I don't have to wait long.
Amazing characters n plots. Story draws you in. I like the fact that the niece turns out to be alive/undead.
They only compare to others in the series. I also like C.E. Murphy but Faith Hunter is a fabulous story teller.
I've only heard her in this series and associate her voice with Jane.
Jane is killer only.
This is a great series story. You wait for the next installment with anticipation and frustration. You're always wowed by where the story goes.
I have. You can never truly put a book to film. But with the audio book you get what you wanted from the movie.
The detail. You get such a deep look inside each character. And in the end there is hope.
When they rescue the women from the men who have been abusing them.
Nick because though he himself is suffering. He tries so hard to look out for others.
The same narrator thru out the entire series
Dead until dark because you have a beginning and here you see the end coming
Yes. Great there was only one book where hear voice was off a little.
Claude because his true colors finally came out and boy what an a**hole
It was clear that she was tying up loose ends. Which made you not want to reach the end. Lots of characters make some kind of appearance.
