From Snuff: "Vimes looked at the cover. The title was The World of Poo. When his wife was out of eyeshot he carefully leafed through it. Well, okay, you had to accept that the world had moved on and these days’ fairy stories were probably not going to be about twinkly little things with wings. As he turned page after page, it dawned on him that whomever had written this book, they certainly knew what would make kids like Young Sam laugh until they were nearly sick. The bit about sailing down the river almost made him smile.

"Completely pointless, even for a Stooges/Pyton Fan"

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Something more clever and informative would have been nice. Seemed like Pratchett was overly tickled to hear someone with a proper English accent say 'poo' and other scatological synonyms.

What didn’t you like about Helen Atkinson-Wood’s performance?

We did not enjoy listening to her performance.

Why we think it’s a great listen: Gaiman’s not just an award-winning author, but a narrator who earns rave reviews – and fields requests from other authors to perform their books, too! Nobody Owens, known to his friends as Bod, is a normal boy. He would be completely normal if he didn't live in a sprawling graveyard, being raised and educated by ghosts, with a solitary guardian who belongs to neither the world of the living nor of the dead....

Guillermo says: "Masterful Fantasy for the Jaded Heart"
    "Simply wonderful!"

Would you listen to The Graveyard Book again? Why?

Maybe... but I would definitely recommend it to anyone. We listened to it as a family, and once you get past the terror of the first few minutes, it was enjoyed by us (parents), a 13yo, a 10yo, and a 6 yo.
