A different narrator, maybe? More applicable content?
The narrator was a chipper Englishman. I just wasn't enjoying it.
This book was disappointing. The content was not what I was expecting.
Yes, because it was so enrapturing.
I couldn't possibly pick just one. Let me just say this: The movie only shows about 25% of what is in the book. I think my favorite part of this book is the description of how Jacob and Bella actually fell in love (which the movie doesn't describe).
Running through the woods
Yes!!!! I couldn't, but I would have.
I am 30 years old, and don't read teen literature. But I couldn't put this book down.
The story-line was different, and kept me interested. The characters southern accent really got on my nerves though. And I really didn't like Sooki, to be honest.
She got the essence of a southerner down pat.
I read the second book in the series, but couldn't go on after that. Sooki's character paired with the southern drawl just grated on my nerves too badly.
Demons, Passion, Romanian-accent
The fantasy element. The elemental demons were imaginitive.
When Jacob and Bella are in the castle, and they are interrupted
I read the whole series, and it was pretty good. The Romanian accent got a little old after a while (towards the end of the series), but was well perfomed by Xe Sands. I would recommend giving the series a go. Each of the books is completely different, while following the original story-line.
I'm a huge fan of evolutionary psychology. This covers all the basics, and more!
I can't say I've read anything quite like it. Closest thing would have to be A General Theory of Love - only because it deals with some evolutionary psychology, but mostly neuropsychology.
Does not apply
The section that actually explains "why beautiful people have more daughters". It was very in-depth, and even a little hard to follow. I will have to re-read it in order to concretely memorize the concept. But that is not a complaint. I found that section in particular highly interesting.
Yes, because the storyline and narration were both pretty good.
The "steamy" parts :)
She was good overall.
Author used the word "lethal" too many times. Otherwise, it was well done.
I didn't like the book. I couldn't even get very far through it because the main character was so idiotic and shallow. I couldn't relate to her at all. I found her whiney and irritating.
No, because I hated the character.
No, I haven't
I give this a three star rating because I can appreciate the talent that went into writing it. I will not read another book by this author.
Ancient meets Space-aged
None. It was unique.
Magical, Psychic, Military, Lust, Love, Rescue
This was a pretty imaginative story. I think it was well done.
Hot Scottish Hero
None. The story was unique.
Tynen, the hero. The actor was SO good with the Scottish accent. I loved it. And he conveyed just the right passion. Perfect.
I'm not sure what a tag line is, but I would describe it as unique, romantic, and darkly magical
