"Nice"
Another excellent book in the whole serie. Narration, plot, main character - 5 stars book
"Old, old Bosch"
Plot paired with history&science about real H Bosch is interesting, but characters are very shallow. Especially Graciela, who would protect her husband from everything, even from doing his job and having fun (hey, some people might have fun to work as investigaters).
To make it worse, the narrator completely reversed the age of people. The voice of Bosch is like the oldest man in the Universe. Tired. Me too.
"Who is who?"
As a fan of Lisa Gardner books (disclaimer!), I really enjoyed this one. I never thought about what policeman could feel after killing someone. That was an interesting psycho study. Also, the cat and mouse game and not knowing who plays which role was very interesting. Last, but not least - narrator is perfect!
"Down to childhood"
This book shows trackst that are burried quite deeply in Harry's childhood. Interesting case, dark, touchy.
"Entertaining and interesting"
It is a must read for any computer savy person. Funny but it made me think. What are the limits of computers? What the substance of human and how it could be evaluated via quick interview?
"Who is the mouse here?"
Cat and mouse game, but you are not really sure who is who. Nice plot, excellent narrator, disturbing facts about pedofiles network.
"Narcotics before xmas"
Disclaimer: I am a big fan of Harry Bosch serie.
After introducing series on audible, I started to listen to it from the beginning. Although this book has all characteristics of the series (lonely wolf Harry, thrilling story, different environment), I found the plot where key part is internal politics less interesting.
Still worth to listen, narrator is excellent.
"Dark and thrilling"
After reading many Harry Bosh books, I finally got to read the first one in the serie (thanks audible for introducing it). And I love it. It's not only the crime story that makes it interesting. Trauma from the past linked to crime investigation - brilliant idea. It's a must for HB fans.
"Astro & crime"
It was a kind of funny to have a mix of crime & astrology theme in one book, but it worked well. Characters that are believable, excellent narration. Connelly in his best.
"Cat and mouse game"
It's a spy-thriller, with a kind of lonely main characters. What strikes me there was the psychological image of the terrorist. Good narrator.
