"Well done I say."
High
Several cliff hangers will keep you engaged, some are simple, some more complex.
Ending, but then several in the book were fun as well.
"Heros Meet Zombies!"
It is great comic book hero, meeting undead. Something that is new and original. Being a fan of both, I enjoyed it, and will miss it now that it is gone. I ordered book 2 before I was out of the first chapters of book 1.
Even worthy of a re-read, and I dont do that oftain!
"Great Fun"
Everything, it reawakens the feel for old fan fiction in me.
Made me want to go back and re-read some of the other old si/fi fan fiction
Classic, if you have not read anything from Camp you need to.
Nothing.
Remember before you order, this is CLASSIC, the author was one of the first big names in Fan Fiction.
Some times you have to remember the age this was put out, and remember that things were more simple in those days, and the thoughts and idea's they put out also are. This does not in any way date the book too badly. I will read it again and again.
"Just good old si fi"
The challenge of the unknown.
No......was great in the beginning then it tended to annoy me as the characters got more dumb as they went on.
Very believable character action.
No had to go back to it a few times
"Slow Rise"
I think I am done with Michael Flynn. Will do another by Malcolm.
Anticlimatic
Have not.
It was a slow build up book, and the future of the book is very predictable.
Went into this hoping for great Si/Fi, and it turned into a major sweeping drama. I do not mind a little drama, and self introspection, but the book was plagued by enormous amounts of heavy Drama. The intrigue was fun, and the overall concept sound, but it could have been told in a much shorter book, with a much farther in the future outcome.
I found myself growing tired of all the "twists" that were attempted. I had to put the book down and go back to it several times just to make it through, as I like to finish something once I start it.
"Cant wait for more!"
Yes, it had parts in it that deserve a second listen.
Serving drinks to your hallucinations.....got to be a first.
This one was well done.
The final moment when I realized it was done, and I have to wait for more !
A very unique angle for a crime fighter, I was reminded of Criminal Minds, mixed up with a bit of Dresden Files. One to look forward to more from.
"Who knew dead could be so fun?"
Yes. The telling was superb. The voices were nicely done throughout, and even without the "catch" it would be fun.
Everyone jumps off the tower.........
Not sure? but this one is very nicely done.
Laugh out loud several times, not a crying book although. The humor was dry in places, but it all fit together.
I would highly recommend this book to the People who love the Diskworld novels.
"More please!"
They had a plan, made it work.
Torture rehab, you read it, you will know, play that song again Sam....
Well done, the voices flowed and were kept constant throughout the entire book.
Keep it simple, Confessions of a D-List Supervillain.
I have high hopes that the team will continue in the same Comic Book Superhero/Villain Story lines. They make it a cant put down, fun book to read.
"WOW"
Have not read the print version...
Hard to compare it considering how it is constructed, but I loved it.
The first book in the series, he is consistent and does a GREAT job.
Very heroic feeling, joy, sadness and every button in between.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes comic's and super heros, this was amazing, well done, and well thought out.
"Not my cup of tea."
Being something I was interested in. First listen I beleive they should give you a choice of the TYPE of story not just a story.
No bad on the performance, just the subject matter.
