Scott Hahn does have an extraordinary gift for upacking complex Catholicsm teachings into understandable parts. I have read most of his books and I am pleasantly surprise to note that he does the same here with his Audiobook. He does a fine task of narrating his own book.
On the book itself, I personally believe it is a must have book for all Catholics. The chapters are short and at the end of each chapter there is a reflection quote posed with the author. There are all together 40 chapters covering a wide range of church customs and practices, from Baptism up to the sign of the Cross. Wonderful stuff that every catholic is bound to benefit from!
I wouldn't be able to give it a rank per se, it's an enjoyable listen - not the best audiobook I have listened to simply because I have interests in other topics as well
Understanding the interpersonal relationships that these men had with each other and how they called upon each other's help during times of crises
When JFK was assinated and how LBJ called upon Ike for support. It was truly touching to see the country coming together.
no, given the fact it is an 18-hour long book, there is no way I could listen to this in one sitting! It took me around 3 weeks to complete the entire audiobook!
Well worth the time to listen to if you are interested in American politics.
I think Peter Meineck does a wonderful job here of explaining Greek mythology. I can now confidently approach literature which have Greek mythological references and have a greater appreciation and understanding of its origins. There are 14 lectures where Prof. Meineck covers the major greek mythological characters. A wonderful discovery of learning if you ask me!
