"More a hagiography than a biography"
We all know Bill's an exceptional coach, but this uncritical, almost fawning, work doesn't illuminate at all. Not especially interesting, and not really well-read.
"Ridiculous, formulaic potboiler"
This is one of those books which one completes, reluctantly, in the hope that it can't really remain as bad as it is - wrong. It can.
"One of those rare excellent books"
Only a few audiobooks are so good that I'll circle the block continuously at the end of a drive home, unwilling to end the "read" by parking in the driveway. This is one. The material is so good, so well read, and so germane to the current world that it should practically be required (and pleasurable) reading for all.
